Let not an evil speaker be established on the earth; evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him."

a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Then said Paul, "I knew not, brethren, that he was the high priest; for it is written: `Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.'"

nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners shall inherit the Kingdom of God.

For I fear lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found by you as ye would not, lest there be debates, envyings, wrath, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, boastings, tumults;

Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice;

So also must their wives be serious, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.

Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law and judgeth the law. But if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

Therefore laying aside all malice and all guile, and hypocrisy and envy and all evil speaking,

For, "He that would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile.

wherein they think it strange that you run not with them to the same dissolute excess, speaking evil of you,

but chiefly those who walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise governance. Presumptuous are they and selfwilled; they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities,

Likewise also, these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

But these speak evil of those things which they know not; but what they come to know naturally as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment; for if thou rescue him, yet thou must do it again.

It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a large house.

not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for filthy lucre, but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;

And the servant of the Lord must not engender strife, but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

in meekness instructing those in opposition. Perhaps God will give them repentance, that they may acknowledge the truth,

Thou hast also given me the shield of Thy salvation, and Thy gentleness hath made me great.

He shall feed His flock like a shepherd; He shall gather the lambs with His arm and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Now I, Paul, myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ -- I, who in your presence am lowly among you, but being absent am bold toward you --

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye who are spiritual restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love,

Let your moderation be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Therefore, holy and beloved, as the elect of God, put on hearts of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering,

forbearing one another and forgiving one another if any man have a quarrel against another: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath;

for the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one for another. Love each other as brethren, be sympathetic, be courteous,

For though I am free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.

As we therefore have opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto those who are of the household of faith.

Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

See that none render evil for evil unto any man, but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves and with all men.

Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
