For Paul had determined to sail past Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia; for he was in haste, that it might be possible for him to be at Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost.

Then Paul answered, "What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? For I am not only ready to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus."

And when he would not be dissuaded, we ceased, saying, "The will of the Lord be done."

And when they had found Him, they said unto Him, "All men seek for Thee."

And He said unto them, "Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also; for therefore came I forth."

Now concerning our brother Apollos: I greatly desired that he should come unto you with the brethren, but it was not at all his will to come at this time; but he will come when it shall be convenient.
