If I have told you earthly things and ye believe not, how shall ye believe if I tell you of heavenly things?

Marvel not at this; for the hour is coming in which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice

When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples murmured at it, He said unto them, "Doth this offend you?

It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing. The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Jesus answered and said unto him, "Verily, verily I say unto thee, unless a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."

What is man, that he should be clean? And he that is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?

Another parable spoke He unto them: "The Kingdom of Heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till the whole was leavened."

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, "I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world."

What then? Are we better than they? No, in no wise! For we have before proved that both Jews and Gentiles are all under sin.

there is none that understandeth; there is none that seeketh after God.

"Their throat is an open sepulcher; with their tongues they have used deceit." "The poison of asps is under their lips,"

"Their feet are swift to shed blood;

and the way of peace have they not known."

Now we know that whatsoever things the law saith, it saith to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped and all the world may become guilty before God.

What if God, choosing to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted for destruction;

even us whom He hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

that ye put off, concerning your former manner of living, the old man which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,

and that ye put on that new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

giving thanks unto the Father, who hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord,

As obedient children, do not fashion yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance,

because it is written: "Be ye holy, for I am holy."

And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie, but only they that are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
