Mark 14:32-35
32
And they came to a place which is named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, "Sit ye here while I shall pray."
33
And He took with Him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed and very heavy of heart.
34
And He said unto them, "My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death; tarry ye here, and watch."
35
And He went forward a little, and fell on the ground and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him.
Luke 22:39-46
39
And He came out and went, as He was wont, to the Mount of Olives; and His disciples also followed Him.
40
And when He was at the place, He said unto them, "Pray that ye enter not into temptation."
41
And He was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down and prayed,
42
saying, "Father, if Thou be willing, remove this cup from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Thine be done."
43
And there appeared an angel unto Him from Heaven, strengthening Him.
44
And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly, and His sweat was, as it were, great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
45
And when He rose up from prayer and had come to His disciples, He found them sleeping for sorrow.
46
And He said unto them, "Why sleep ye? Rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation."
John 18:1-11
1
When Jesus had spoken these words, He went forth with His disciples over the Brook Kidron, where was a garden into which He entered with His disciples.
2
And Judas also, who betrayed Him, knew the place, for Jesus oftentimes resorted thither with His disciples.
3
Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, came thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.
4
Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon Him, went forth and said unto them, "Whom seek ye?"
5
They answered Him, "Jesus of Nazareth." Jesus said unto them, "I am He." And Judas also, who betrayed Him, stood with them.
6
As soon then as He had said unto them, "I am He," they went backward and fell to the ground.
7
Then asked He them again, "Whom seek ye?" And they said, "Jesus of Nazareth."
8
Jesus answered, "I have told you that I am He. If therefore ye seek Me, let these go their way,"
9
that the saying might be fulfilled which He spoke, "Of those that Thou gavest Me, have I lost none."
10
Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and smote the high priest's servant and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.
11
Then said Jesus unto Peter, "Put up thy sword into the sheath. The cup which My Father hath given Me, shall I not drink it?"

And He went a little farther, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as Thou wilt."
Matthew 26:42
He went away again the second time and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if this cup may not pass away from Me, unless I drink it, Thy will be done."
Psalm 22:1
My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me? Why art Thou so far from helping Me, and from the words of My groaning?
Psalm 22:2
O My God, I cry in the daytime, but Thou hearest not; and in the night season I am not silent.
Psalm 69:1-3
1
Save me, O God, for the waters have come in unto my soul.
2
I sink into deep mire where there is no standing; I have come into deep waters where the floods overflow me.
3
I am weary of my crying, my throat is dry; mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
Psalm 69:13-15
13
But as for me, my prayer is unto Thee: O LORD, in an acceptable time, O God, in the multitude of Thy mercy hear me in the truth of Thy salvation.
14
Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink; let me be delivered from them that hate me and out of the deep waters.
15
Let not the floodwater overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up; and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
Hebrews 5:7
Christ, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to save Him from death, and was heard in that He feared,
