who forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God;

Yet ye say, "Why?" Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously; yet she is thy companion and the wife of thy covenant.

What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder."

For the woman who hath a husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of the husband.

And unto the married I command (yet not I, but the Lord): let not the wife depart from her husband.

But to the rest I speak (not the Lord): if any brother hath a wife who believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.

For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband. Else your�?®children would be unclean, but now they are holy.

So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He hat loveth his wife loveth himself.

Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
