"I am the LORD thy God, who have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

For I am the LORD who bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. Ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

Neither shall ye profane My holy name, but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel. I am the LORD who hallow you,

that brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God: I am the LORD."

"At the same time," saith the LORD, "will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people."

And they shall be My people, and I will be their God;

But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He hath prepared for them a City.
