And he shall take from the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering and one ram for a burnt offering.

And he shall take the two goats and present them before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD'S lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering.

Therefore in all things it behooved Him to be made like unto His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

And by reason hereof, he ought, both for the people and also for himself, to make offering for sins.

But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the errors of the people,

Nor yet should He offer Himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place with blood of others every year;

for then would He have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once, in the end of the world, hath He appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

and the LORD said unto Moses, "Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the Holy Place within the veil before the mercy seat which is upon the ark, that he die not; for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the veil,

And after the second veil was the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All,

But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the errors of the people,

neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood, He entered in once into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
