"An evil disease," they say, "cleaveth fast unto him, and now that he lieth down, he shall rise up no more."

And after all this the LORD smote him in his bowels with an incurable disease.

And it came to pass that in process of time, after the end of two years, his bowels fell out by reason of his sickness; so he died of grievous diseases. And his people made no burning for him like the burning of his fathers.

My flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; my skin is broken, and has become loathsome.

By the great force of my disease is my garment changed; it bindeth me about as the collar of my coat.

And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory; and he was eaten by worms and gave up the ghost.
