Hast thou heard the secret of God? And dost thou withhold wisdom for thyself?

Are the consolations of God small with thee? Is there any secret thing with thee?

And unto man He said, `Behold, the fear of the Lord: that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.'"

"The secret things belong unto the LORD our God; but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

The secret of the LORD is with them that fear Him, and He will show them His covenant.

But there is a God in heaven who revealeth secrets, and maketh known to King Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream and the visions of thy head upon thy bed are these:

The king answered unto Daniel and said, "In truth it is, that your God is a God of gods and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret."

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, "I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world."

Now to Him who has the power to establish you according to my Gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which was kept secret since the world began

but now is made manifest, and by the Scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith,

But as it is written: "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him."

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so no man knoweth the things of God, but the Spirit of God.

which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit:

And after all that has come upon us for our evil deeds and for our great trespass, seeing that Thou our God hast punished us less than our iniquities deserve, and hast given us such deliverance as this,

He hath not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

Many times did He deliver them, but they provoked Him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.

and He remembered for them His covenant, and repented according to the multitude of His mercies.

It is through the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.
