"But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return and shall be eaten, as a teil tree and as an oak whose substance is in them when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof."

For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return; the consuming decreed shall overflow with righteousness.

In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land,

Thus saith the LORD, "As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, `Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it,' so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all.

"Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now and know, and seek in the broad places thereof if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth, and I will pardon it.

And I sought for a man among them that should make up the hedge and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found none.

And unless those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved; but for the elect's sake, those days shall be shortened.
